This gorgeous
clamshell phone, with colour screen is
a phone you
just won’t want to put down.
With a sleek silver finish, sexy curvy
design, a 128 x 160 pixel screen and 16
polyphonic ringtones, this handset should
fly off the shelves at the blink of the
eye.
When the phone is turned on, the colour
screen immediately shows a paper plane
flying across the screen amidst a background
of boats in a harbour accompanied by a
fairytale chime. After opening the clamshell
lid it reveals a space-age type keyboard
with numbers illuminated in electric blue.
Its high definition colour screen of 4096
colours is a stunner making the T100 appear
like a miniature TV screen.
Reading WAP isn’t a chore on this
little gem, as it displays up to 12 lines
of text or a whole message can be viewed
at once, making pleasurable reading. A
clinking and clanking sound will alert
you too a voicemail that you’ve received.
Lurking in this dynamite handset are 42
polyphonic ringtones including the show-stopper
number Carmen with the choice of downloading
three more ringtones of your personal choice
or the chance to compose two of your own
ditties on the built-in melody composer.
Key features crammed inside the T100 are
a WAP 1.2.1 browser, picture messaging,
organiser, vibrate alert, T9, voice dialling,
voice commands and voice memo, reminder,
alarm clock and a memo for those important
appointments.
There’s also an impressive array
of built-in games – Airshooting,
SpaceWar and the addictive MyPet, based
on the Tamagochi craze of about five years
ago. Here you have the chance of putting
your caring and parenting skills to the
test by giving you the serious task of
caring for your own personal pussy cat – wash
it, feed it and even take it to the vet
when it becomes ill. All this in full colour
as well!
Although the handset doesn’t feature
some of the up-and-coming technology such
as Bluetooth, GPRS, built-in infrared modem,
and neither is it tri-band, its looks will
no doubt ensure that it’s a winner.
