The tri-band handset has access to the
Internet and as a fully featured mobile
multimedia product, it is the most advanced
phone that has been announced in the GSM-industry.
With the P800 it’s possible to take
digital pictures, view them on the 208
x 320 pixel colour screen, store them
in the photo album and send them as an
e-mail
to a PC or as an MMS-message to another
phone. The P800 can also show a colour
picture of the person who is calling,
for that personal touch.
In standby mode, the flip cover of the
mobile covers half of the screen and closing
the flip quits you out of any application
you are currently using, taking you back
to stand-by mode.
There’s the facility to download
and view video clips, such as a sequence
from a sports events, music video or movie
trailer with the P800. The handset is also
an organizer – handling daily tasks
such as calendar, e-mail, address book
and to-do lists. All these features can
easily be synchronized with the most
common office applications on a PC. The
P800 enables
the user to take notes and view files
such as Powerpoint, Word or Excel and
thanks
to its Bluetooth capability, can be connected
wirelessly to a Bluetooth headset, a
PC or other Bluetooth enabled gadgets.
The
P800 is capable of storing up to 1,000
contacts, organise tasks and meetings
in its calendar as well as making notes
(voice
or written) in its notepad.
